Urban Cueni (*1939 in Laufen, BL)
Everything is vibration. Vibration manifests itself in interrelationships. This applies in particular to colors, shapes, and volumes. Urban Cueni’s work is based on this premise. His artistic career has led him from black and white to colored drawings, from two-dimensional color images (elimination of perspective) to monochrome images (while maintaining a reference color!) and finally to color revitalization with the inclusion of the complementary color.
